Greg says: Poured from a 12 oz. bottle into a standard glass. Light gold in color with nice lacing. Had a nice yeast smell with citrus and coriander. First taste has citrus, some lemon, and spices, as you would expect. Has a nice dry finish. This is a very refreshing beer and if you like this style, I highly recommend picking some up.
Jared Says: Poured from a 12oz bottle into a standard glass. Gotta admit....I love pouring a beer with a little bit of cloudiness, lets me know there is some flavor in there. I wasn't disappointed. Like Greg says...it's citrusy and spicey, but enjoyably smooth and very drinkable. This fits right into my flavor range as it's a double which gives me more malt than a typical white. If you like white ales..........give this one a try.
JT Says: Oh thank you Jared for giving me this last week. A 12 oz bottle that I actually used a 40 ml tulip glass for, not sure why but it worked well. Great aroma on this one and usually I am not a fan of citrus when the temperature goes down. Great, crisp, refreshing beer. Lovely citrus and spice in taste. No aftertaste at all for me which was nice since I was about to eat dinner. At 6.7% it is similar Hoegaarden but with a better kick, although you don't taste the extra alcohol.
